Usually the bride walks down the aisle to the wedding march…and her bridesmaids walk down to canon in d.
Any songs are good for a reception…things you and your fiance would listen to are always good.

You want songs other than “Here Comes the Bride”? What’s wrong with tradition?
If you like country music I have no suggestion.

My niece walked down the aisle to Butterfly Kisses.
One friend had the groom pick the song, he choose when a man loves woman. This was several several years ago.
I love Alison Krauss. what about Whitney Houston’s I will always love you.
Congratulations and the Best of Luck to you.

I am getting married in January & I am walking down the aisle to ” I don’t wanna miss a thing” Aerosmith. I guess it just depends on what kind of music you like.

there is this one song by jamie foxx called heaven and that is the song that you should walk down the isle to because its very beautiful and it describes an angel coming from heaven to take care of unfinished buisness and that is to be with the man she loves and to be his everything.

“Goodbye To Love” by the Carpenters

When I think of my wedding day, I never really think of walking down the aisle to the “traditional” music. I think anything that is softer and romantic is fine. Personally, I like “Everything I Do, I Do It For You” by Brian Adams, or “From This Moment On” by Shania Twain. For the reception, you can really play anything that you want that you think your guests will enjoy. Congratulations and good luck!

There are a number of factors to consider:
1. What type of music do you like?
2. Will your bridesmaids walk down the aisle to that song as well?
3. Do you want a song with lyrics or music only?
4. How long is the aisle?
5. If the song has lyrics, at what point in those lyrics will you be walking down the aisle?
6. Do you want a stately formal type of music or something trendy or something fun and lively?
FWIW: I walked down the aisle to “A Time for Us” from the Zefferelli version of Romeo and Juliet.

Cannon in D is my all time favorite. You can get a CD of wedding songs which will help you pick out great music for all parts of a wedding. You don’t want to sing as you walk down the aisle. You could pre record something or sing from the balcony before you walk down the aisle

I didn’t want to walk down the aisle to the same old wedding march, so I chose another piece. Pur Ti Miro. It’s very pretty.
